Happy Father's Day!

We celebrated Father's Day by having lunch with my parents at MCL today. I know, most of you are not excited by the thought of eating at MCL, but our family LOVES it!

Here's proof that God knows what He is talking about when He says that children are a blessing. This is the poem that Sydney wrote and gave to Kenney today:

A Few Words That Describe You
Every time we try to spy
You catch us and give us advice that is wise
You've helped us build high forts
Even though you're quite short
We know you work all day in the sun
But when you get home you're still fun
We always ask for money
And your comment is always funny
Every day you teach us sharing
How can you be so caring?

There is nothing that rhymes with awesome!

You think you're "all that" all the time, but
you're not...you're much more!
