So You Think You Can Dance

Maybe we've been watching too much So You Think You Can Dance lately!

Kenney can relax and quit worrying about his kids being too suburbianized (you can find that word in Brittany's Dictionary :0)

Sydney's 13th Birthday

~Here's what Sydney did for her 13th birthday on Thursday ~

She started her day here -
I dropped Sydney and Brittany off at the mall,
and Syd was told that she was scheduled for a
shampoo & style.

After that, the girls went to lunch and Brittany snuck
this into Sydney's purse -

A few minutes later, Kenney called on the phone to wish
her "Happy Birthday" - Needless to say, Sydney was estatic!

The girls shopped for a couple of hours, bought some
jewelry & friendship bracelets at Claire's, and took these...

Sydney finished her day by seeing this with her Dad -

and eating this...

Oh yeah, and the little kids decided that we should
eat this in celebration of Sydney's birthday (even
though she wasn't home)!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SYDNEY!

Family Vacation

Here are a few pics from our recent family vacation to Seacrest Beach, Florida - our first family vacation in 10 years!!!! We survived the 12 hour drive with Moriah in the car (thanks for the prayers) and had a GREAT time!

Kiley & Josh at the beach...they loved to
wait for the water to come in and then jump over it

Havin' fun in the pool

Moriah and Dad enjoying the ocean

Brittany & Moriah (who was less
than happy about being photographed :0)

Sydney and I catching some waves!

Josh & his sand toys!

Sweet 16

It's hard to believe that our baby is 16 (June 25)!

I think our oldest and youngest have a few things in common! When Kenney tells Brittany that she better behave or he's going to "take her out and make another one who looks just like her", he means it :0)

Brittany's actual birthday was fairly uneventful. She had already received her "big" presents earlier in the month. The first was her extreme room makeover .

The second, and most exciting for her, was this "hand-me-down" present from my parents...

I don't remember my first car having this...

Leather seats

or this....

A sunroof

In fact, I think my first car looked more like this...
We are so proud of the young woman that Brittany has grown into and can't wait to see all that God has in store for her life. Happy Birthday, Brit!
