So we have this "super secret" handshake that we do with Kiley and Joshua before bed every night. Kenney came up with it, and it's a nice part of the bed-time routine (except when we can't do it for one reason or another and it leads to crying, complaining, etc.). It goes something like this:
You hold each other's hand and squeeze as you say:
Do you love me?
Yes, I do.
How much?
Squeeze (you squeeze hard if you REALLY love them!)
So we do this with the kids. They ask first, and then we ask. I did it with Kiley Sunday night, and then it was her turn to squeeze. After, she squeezed my hand, she laid down and said, "I love you more than that, but my hand hurts tonight, so I can't squeeze any harder." Too cute!

Okay, so both these posts are just too adorable for words!!! I wish I had written down some of the funny phrases and cute things the kids have said over the years - cuz' you know my memory isn't so great anymore after 3 kids - and you have almost twice the kids I do!!! Does this mean we're getting old? ;o)
